Involve your guests by making your next party INTERACTIVE! Here is a fun party idea shared by Celeste Ortiz.

Ask for guest volunteers. They will be reading these cards and you play the Vanna White role by either holding up product or show the pages in the catalog. Give your host the candle care card and pass out one card to each volunteer (you don't have to use all of the cards). The guests generally know each other, so they will listen and it will change up your presentation in a fun way. All volunteers get a tealight!

Customer Service

Before I post on customer service, I wanted to give a quick recognition to 3 demonstrators I know of who have fundraisers in the works. None of the 3 are GOLD demonstrators - but all will reap the lucrative rewards of a Gold Canyon fundraiser. Great job, Shaunda, Traci and Katie!!!

Recently Stephanie Rouly held an awesome training session on customer service at an area meeting. The next day her husband shared the following clip with her and she was so kind to share it with us. December Recognition

I can't believe another month and another year have gone by! Let's start out this New Year with a big pat on the back with this, our December Team Recognition...

December's top seller was Melanie Davis, Manager (AZ) with sales of $1,035.18. On her tail was her downline, Ronda Strauss, Gold Demonstrator (NY) with sales of $909.51. Holding on in third place is a fairly new demonstrator, Barb Conboy (WA) who finished the month with $843.33. Barb also ranks top in highest party for December with a party order of $517.10. Great job, ladies!

Mary Fulk, Manager (AZ) submitted not one but two Fundraising orders this month totalling $5,019. Mary is our Fundraising Queen, this year she turned in a total of 6 separate fundraisers. I also want to recognize Melanie Davis for turning in 3 fundraisers in 2008.

This year was Gold Canyon's "Year of Sponsoring". They held tons of great promotions to help make it easy for us to build our teams. I am so proud of all of you for your sponsoring efforts this year. Congratulations to Melanie Davis our top recruiter, who brought in 5 new team members this year. Next up is Mary Reynolds and Kathy Ashton with 2 each. November Recognition

I just want to scream "WOO-HOO" for all of you this month!!! Our team sales were $12,372!!! That is fantastic! I do consider myself as part of this team, so with mine included it makes it $17,269. All of your Y-T-D sales are $108,471 collectively. Our team goal for this year is $125K - so that leaves $16,529. Actually, if I include my personal sales in the yearly goal we are going to have it made in the shade!

First recognition category is for the highest order this month.... drum roll please... KATHY ASHTON in Washington submitted a $651 party. Great job! You'll see Kathy's name throughout this post - she has really been on the ball.

Next is our fall incentive from Gold Canyon, "Simply 2". Remember this is the last month to qualify for the different categories, so take inventory and set your goals now. The monthly reward of 75 Gold Dollars for submitting 4 parties of $350 OR 1 fundraiser of $2500 goes to.... RONDA STRAUSS in New York for 4 parties over $350 and also to Mary Fulk, upline for SHAUNDA JACOBS in Arizona!!!! You gals are AWESOME!

Speaking of Fundraisers, put your hands together for SHAUNDA. Submitting fundraisers requires a leadership title, but that doesn't stop her! She got her school to do the fundraiser through her upline and they submitted a fundraiser order over $6,000! The demonstrator commission was $600. The organization made out like a bandit as well, with Gold Canyon's 2% increase fundraising promotion this month, they kept about $2,500 of that. Not a bad deal!!!

Back to Simply 2, For the Monthly Bonus, KATHY ASHTON and ANGIE PALMER sponsored new demos this month and will receive an extra $50 CASH from Gold Canyon.
